Happy Wednesday!
We had a fairly good day today. We were busy finishing up our study of the number 3, the shape of a circle, the color orange and the story of Noah and learning about the letter I. We had fun finishing up our theme of Halloween and talking about what we are going to be for Halloween. We were not able to go outside today so we were able to have some fun with Music and Movement, which we have not done a whole lot of.
A reminder that seasons are finally changing in St. Louis which means it is time to pull out the jackets and coats. Please make sure that they are labeled with your child's name on the inside some where. You may also want to change out your child's extra clothes from summer to winter ones.
Enjoy reading and viewing our day through pictures and as always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me at hhorn@zionharvester.org
Free Choice Time
We listened to music selections of classical Disney music this morning and we enjoyed an extra long Free Choice Time today. We were all playing so well that it was great to continue just playing for a little longer. We did complete some of our center work during Free Choice Time to help us get caught up on a few things.

Halloween Words!
So through out the month we work on learning words that go along with what we are talking about. So this month we have been talking about Fall and Halloween. Today we glued on pictures of some of those words. I would ask the child either to find the picture of or to tell me what a picture was. This is a great way for us to become familiar with new words, to learn new words, say new words and look at pictures and letters.
We had a great day in our classroom! Happy Halloween to you all!
