A Beautiful Fall Day
Today we continued our study of the color orange, the number three, the shape of a circle and learning about the story of Noah and the Ark and learning about the letter H. We had fun cutting with scissors, playing with play dough, counting the number three and painting a brown leaf to add to our fall scene in our classroom. Be sure and look at what centers we have been doing in our hallway to the cubbies next week.
Enjoy reading and viewing our day and as always if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me hhorn@zionharvester.org
Free Choice Time
We had fun cutting orange paper this morning to help fill our jack o'lantern. This has been an awesome activity for our friends this month to work on their cutting skills and not to feel like they have to be cutting a certain way.
Sensory Table
We have been having lots of fun scooping, pouring, digging and looking for some pretty gems in our beans that have filled up the table.
Imaginative Play
Kate made a delicious huge sandwich her goggles were a big help in making her sandwich!
Kate was taking her cooking very seriously
And she was off to the store for some more ingredients!
Grant enjoyed looking at books in the reading area.
Big Blocks
We had fun building and stacking the blocks today
Bingo Dauber Art
Today we made a pretty fall leaf as we had to match the circles to the right color bingo dauber. Each color was done three times. We had yellow, green, red, orange and purple leaves and they turned out great. Some of my friends are still working on learning how to use the bingo dauber so we just worked on using the orange bingo dauber. Bingo Daubers are great for us to work on self control, working on using a writing tool and pre-writing skills.
